Production for Cattle

NutriCAB

NutriCAB

Contains a high concentration (>80%) of calcium chloride in an encapsulated form. This specialized coating protects against the negative effects of unprotected anionic salts, such as bitter taste, which affects feed intake; hygroscopicity, which is important during application and storage, is absolutely safe for the skin.

Low blood calcium levels in post-calving cows always have negative consequences, such as reduced dry matter intake, reduced performance and increased incidence of metabolic diseases. These problems can be avoided by taking care of the cow's health in the late dry period. Feeding anionic rations during this period activates the calcium exchange in the animal's body in advance, which allows controlling the concentration of calcium in the blood during the calving period and after it.

RESULTS OF NUTRICAB WORK ON THE FARM:

  • Five-fold return on costs due to increased productivity
    Increase in milk productivity
  • Reduction in the risk of metritis by 82.1%, mastitis by 53%, rennet displacement by 80% and litter retention by 81%
  • Reduction of costs for veterinary measures due to a reduction in the number of cases of metabolic disorders: 50-100 € per cow

MECHANISMS OF ACTION OF NUTRICAB IN THE BODY OF CATTLE

  • A change in the pH of the cow's blood to a slightly acidic state due to an increase in the concentration of chloride ions

  • Mobilizing more calcium from bones to buffer acid in the bloodstream

  • Achieving the maximum intake of calcium during calving
