Levucell SC

Levucell SC

NATURALLY ENHANCING RUMEN FUNCTION AND PERFORMANCE

A concentrated form of a ruminant specific live yeast probiotic designed to optimize rumen function, fiber digestibility, increase productivity and support well-being of ruminant and horse. LEVUCELL SC is successfully used since more than 30 years in various countries around the world and documented in more than a hundred independent international scientific publications.

The strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-1077 was selected from thousands of yeast strains for its capacity to maximize energy, improve rumen pH- reducing the risk of Sub Acute Ruminant Acidosis (SARA) – aid rumen development and increase fiber digestibility. In Horse, LSC optimizes hindgut function, by improving feed digestibility thanks to better gut maturity.

FOUR WAYS FOR IMPROVING RUMEN FUNCTION

  • INCREASES THE RUMEN PH,
which prevents the development of acidosis

  • SCAVENGES OXYGEN IN THE RUMEN,
which is an advanced mechanism for increasing the fibrolytic activity of the cellulolytic flora of the rumen, most of which is considered strictly anaerobic

  •  HELPS TO LIMIT LACTATE PRODUCING BACTERIA
by Streptococcus bovis with a high concentration of easily fermentable carbohydrates, which prevents the development of acidosis

  • HELPS IMPROVE FIBER DIGESTION
in diets high in both starch and fiber

TITAN TECHNOLOGY FOR THE PROTECTION OF YEAST CELLS IN THE PROCESS OF MANUFACTURING COMBINED FEED

LEVUCELL SC TITAN is high-tech, easily mixed and compatible with most feed ingredients and feed additives. Due to the unique patented technology of Titan microencapsulation, coating of yeast cells with fatty acids.

LEVUCELL SC TITAN is resistant to the action of elevated temperatures and pressure under standard conditions of granulation and aggressive substances. That is why it withstands feed production processes, even  in pelleted feed and pelleted-minerals, without loss of quality and ensures stability through storage.
